Embellishments began as a result of business owners, Paul and Fiona identifying a need for original and unique interior decorations and accessories.

So why not New Zealand made... and why not made by artists... and even better why not one-off and exclusive pieces.

 

Embellishments has been operating as a successful retail store in Rotorua, the tourism capital of New Zealand since 2003, and decided to open an on-line store to provide an extension to the existing business, and to meet the growing number of requests from customers to shop on-line with us.

 

We work closely with New Zealand artists who are happy to create a one-of-a-kind piece for you if you are not able to find what you are looking for in our on-line catalogue. We pride ourselves on being able to have made for you, that special piece to compliment your existing decor, or to match a favourite outfit for a special occassion.

 

Our vision is to work with a group of artists who will create unique and exclusive pieces to excite our customers. Our desire is to support emerging artists and to encourage our customers to choose New Zealand Made to accessorise and to decorate. We are devoted to New Zealand Made decorative art.

 

Embellishments also supports a small number of overseas artists and is proud to represent Sid Dickens, Anna Chandler and selected artist co-ops.
